The CNWL Club Drug Clinic

The CNWL Club Drug Clinic is a free service dedicated to club drug users living in the London boroughs of Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith and Fulham.

It offers non-judgemental, professional support and advice to help deal with the problems associated with club drug use and to help reduce the risks to your body, mind and people around you.

Their team includes highly specialised addiction doctors, psychologists, nurses, counsellors, family therapists, mindfulness practitioners and peer mentors.

They also work in partnershop with Antidote at London Friend to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender club drug users.

Their services include

  • Confidential information and advice including harm reduction
  • A holistic specialist assessment with trained addictions specialist and doctor
  • Medically assisted withdrawal from substances (detoxification) inculding GBL/GHB
  • Prescribed medication to help with the side effects of stopping substance use
  • One-to-one talking treatments incuding motivational interviewing and relapse prevention, counselling, psychotherapy and cognitive behvioural therapy (CBT)
  • Support for partners, family and friends including couples counselling
  • Support groups including GBL/GBH preparation for detox, support from people with lived experience, 'chemsex' and change groups
  • Sexual helath screening
  • Referral to specialist servcies such as urology for 'ketamine bladder'
