Our Talking Therapy and Counselling services are provided by qualified and trainee therapists from a range of different theoretical approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, transpersonal and person-centred therapy.  This means that we can provide the best recommended treatment for every individual person’s issues.

Counselling for people who need help with:

  • low to moderate anxiety and depression.
  • family/relationship issues
  • loss, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder
  • lack of direction
  • issues around work, self-image, emotional, physical or sexuality

Services associated to counselling in all its various forms, including one-to-one and group therapy.
Examples of eating disorders are anorexia nervosa, bulimia and compulsive eating.They are often an expression of deep emotional difficulties and low self esteem. Depression, disturbed sleep patterns, restlessness and disturbance of bodily functions are some of the effects of eating disorders.
The mental reaction (anguish, grief, fright) to another person's actions. It may only be recoverable as damages when it is accompanied by physical manifestations (nausea, vomiting, dizziness).
It is common for someone with a personality disorder to be impulsive, have high levels of sensitivity, be aggressive, attention seeking and overly dependent on others. However there is a lot of debate about this disorder. The World Health Organisation defines them as "deeply ingrained and enduring behaviour patterns, manifesting themselves as inflexible responses to a broad range of personal and social situations."
