Direct Payments

Direct Payments is an alternative method of receiving the support you need. It gives you the flexibility, choice and control over the care you receive.

If you are getting support from the Westminster Adult Mental Health Services and can manage your own services either alone or with support, Direct Payments may be for you.

People use Direct Payments to pay for a range of services to meet their assessed needs, inlcuding

  • support to live in their own home
  • support to get  out and about
  • support with personal care
  • equipment to help with independent living

You will be asked to provide details of your financial circumstances to assess the support you need, and whether you need to contribute to your care.
