How it Started
This website was designed and constructed with help from mental heath service users in the London Borough of Westminster. A large number of service users took part in a consultation exercise to decide on how they would like this website to be. They decided on which activities they would be interested in finding out about and they had lots of ideas about how the website should look. It was their idea to include users’ art work to make the website look attractive.Constant Improvement
They have also been involved in commenting on the website as its construction progressed and their input has improved its content and appearance. Some of these service users are keeping the website updated on a regular basis. Some of them appear in the photographs on the website.Funding
The funding for this project was provided by Westminster PCT, through Sarah Rushton, Head of Mental Health Services for Westminster Primary Care Trust. Westminster Mind managed the project and it was supervised by Rogan Wolf, User Support Worker and Karen Doherty, User Focussed Monitoring Project Manager.Website Credits
